Community Impact: Nick & Kelly Children’s Heart Fund

Ryan Herco Tempe, Arizona, group is leading their annual fall golf tournament in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Ryan Herco has held the fall golf tournament for 25 years with proceeds benefiting organizations that impact children directly.

Saturday, Oct 16, 2021, individuals, teams and sponsors will support the Nick & Kelly Children’s Heart Fund and bring awareness to the mission of the organization.

Nick & Kelly Children’s Heart Fund
All proceeds for 2021 will benefit the Nick & Kelly Children’s Heart Fund (https://www.nickandkellyfund.org/) which was established after the founders two sons passed away from congenital heart disease. Founded in 1985, the fun is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization with no paid administrators that provides services for children with congenital heart disease and acquired heart disease. The fund focuses on family assistance from monetary or emotional support to expert care referral and endeavors to enable children to enjoy an active fulfilling life. Also, the fund covers the Nick & Kelly Children’s Heart Camp (https://www.nkheartcamp.org/), along with tuition and travel expenses for local kids to attend real camp. The camp features medically trained staff on hand for children ages 7-17 and provides the full camp experience in a setting that is supportive and helps build self-esteem for children facing congenital heart disease.
