Community Impact: Summer Food Drive

Micropump. is proud to be headquartered in Vancouver, WA, and is dedicated to engaging our employees to create value and positively impact our local community.

The summer months are typically a slower time in the year for food banks to receive food or fund donations. Additionally, the pandemic has taken a toll on our communities in more than one way, including catalyzing rises in food insecurity. To assist our local Clark County Food Bank this summer, Micropump employees collected non-perishables for our summer food drive.

Our July collection was successfully dropped off by our GM (Fabrizio De Capitani) and HR Generalist (Sheila Bruhn). A huge thank you to our employees that were able to contribute to our summer food drive! In addition to the food donated, we were also delighted to donate $5k from the IDEX Corporation Foundation. These additional funds can be used by the Clark County Food Bank to provide emergency food relief to individuals and families, as well as implementing a preventative stance against the various causes of hunger.
