Community Impact: $15K Donation for the Boys & Girls Clubs of SW Washington

Micropump is honored to have recently made a $15K donation to our local Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington.
We are excited to celebrate and support the great work the BGCSW does in our community and can’t wait to hear how the donation helps support the Academic Success programs! Check out the photo the BGCSW shared with us of some of the amazing students in the programs.

The BGCSW Academic Success programs encourage our youth to BE EDUCATED. These Academic Success programs foster a culture of learning and we work closely with our partner schools to extend education beyond the school day. Micropump, Inc. is grateful to be able to contribute to the cause, made possible by the IDEX Corporation Foundation and our local IDEX Foundation coordinator Sheila Bruhn.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington seeks to provide a positive environment, quality programs, and lifelong learning skills for all school age youth in Vancouver and its surrounding areas, with special concern for those coming from disadvantaged circumstances. Youth come to the Club where trained professionals provide: a safe environment for kids to have fun and be themselves; constructive programs that channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits; and supportive relationships that help build young people’s self-esteem. The Boys & Girls Clubs of SW Washington currently serves more than 3,000 youth.
